Artist Background: Jacki holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of MA Amherst Campus with an education minor. As a tenured art teacher in public schools, Jacki took summer graduate art classes at the University of Hawaii. While raising her two sons, Jacki explored many art media including pottery, quilting, knitting, sewing, needlepoint, beading, batik, polymer clay, pastels, watercolor and ink drawing. This multi-media experience allows creative juices to flow in many directions and the skills translate into a unique perspective.

Working in polymer clay since the 80's, Jacki loves to play with color, design and texture. Former endeavors include designing one-of-a-kind wearable art such as hand-knitted children's art on sweaters and designing reversible quilts. Her jewelry and polymer pieces reflect the love of unique and original work. Look for her logo (forever in Chinese) on her artwork and for design surprises on the interior and back or interior areas. Jacki has been a member of Beadesigner Int'l. since the late 1980's and a board member for several years.

As a teacher, Jacki enjoys consulting with others to problem solve and breaks down each technique into easy steps while guiding student projects to completion.
