Boxes and More Workshop

Beginner to Advanced
Minimum 5 students, maximum 10 students
Students will learn to use slab-building techniques to create freeform, layered boxes. We will address problems like slumping of walls, texturing, pre-baked segments, fitting lids, handles, and footings. Students can also bring canes and texture plates for embellishing surface. Techniques to form sheets of clay will be taught: texturing, scrapscape, color blocking.
Materials list provided with registration.
Society Members, $60. Non-Members, $75.
